71 miles away from my college campus 10 souls were taken from this earth due to a campus shooting at Umpqua community college. As I watched on CNN that night I thought about how the kids who were not victims, but friends of those victims would be effected. What was their story?

Press: Won a College Emmy at the 2016 College Emmy Awards. Over 700 shares on Facebook on the first day of this short film’s release attracted the attention of NBC affiliate KMTR, which broadcasted the story and accompanying interviews during primetime. Anti-gun organizations States United and Mom’s Demand Action shared the video, along with Rapper MC Hammer.
